Started this new painting on top of an old painting.  I admit I love doing this.  Tom likes it the way it is...  Of course I will have to mess with it.  It is no way finished.  I'll try not to ruin it.

Japanese Pregnancy Series

This is from a dream I had when I was pregnant.  

I read later, that doctors in 17th century Japan diagnosed pregnancy by asking patients if they were having dreams about cats.  

It was such a delicate subject...  They couldn't ask questions that were too direct.  So... 
" Have you had any dreams about cats?" became the question I guess for have you missed your period?

Golden Hour

Finally, finished this painting.  

It took a long time. I wasted a lot of paint.  I couldn't figure it out.  

Then all of a sudden it all came together!

It is big too, 3'x5'.  My last big canvas... for now.
